Jr. NBA Philippines 2008 - Program Overview

Jr. NBA, the leading youth basketball program in the United States that serves existing
recreational youth basketball leagues through support programs for players, coaches,
parents and officials, was introduced in the Philippines last summer with 16 private and
public schools in the Greater Manila Area participating in the program.

This summer, Jr. NBA Philippines presented by Hi-Smart, will reach 200 schools
nationwide across 2 regions: NCRand Visayas. The program is open to boys aged 12 to
14 years old with approximately 20,000 students, parents, and coaches expected to
benefit from the program.
Jr. NBA is comprised of four stages: the School Program, Regional Selection Camps, the
National Training Camp, andthe NBA Experience. In the NBA Experience, the best six
campers of the National Training Camp will be named to theJr. NBA Philippine Team and
rewarded with a trip to the USA to watch an NBA game live and play against a Jr. NBAUS
Team.
